We are seeking an entrepreneurial, results-oriented business development professional with a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the Life Sciences sector through strategic partnerships. This role will report directly to the EVP of Business Development and collaborate closely with the EVP of Life Sciences and Population Health.

Job Summary
Our GTM strategy is based on achieving commercial scale through partnerships, and the primary focus of this position is to drive revenue attainment in the Life Sciences sector, with and through strategic partners, including ISVs, SIs, consulting firms, CROs, and cloud platform providers.
The right candidate for this position needs to be comfortable working in a start-up environment, utilizing their relevant industry domain expertise to drive opportunity identification, pipeline expansion and winning sales opportunities with leading Life Sciences companies alongside our strategic partners. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation in the Life Sciences industry through the adoption of a proven AI platform in entirely novel and powerful ways, and to play an instrumental role in the future commercial success of Clinithink.
Interested candidates must have demonstrated success in building, growing and closing revenue opportunities in the Life Sciences sector, by applying their knowledge about how clinical data is utilized by organizations across a range of domains, such as market entry studies, RWD/RWE, clinical trials, and health economic outcomes research (HEOR).
Working collaboratively across all company functions will be a critical success factor - including executive leadership, marketing, product, partner programs, enablement and delivery. This position is remote with travel expected to customer and partner sites, mostly in the US and occasionally overseas.
Key Responsibilities and Success Measures
1. Collaborate effectively with Life Sciences partners in sell-with and sell-through selling motions, and establish a basis for long-term mutual success
2. Drive commercial scale by working with partners to secure wins within their Life Sciences customer base, by utilizing Clinithink technology
3. Establish beach-heads within net new Life Sciences enterprise accounts by selling Clinithink-enabled solutions and projects with partners
4. Negotiate and secure contractual agreements with enterprise end customers and GTM partners
5. Work closely with product and delivery teams to ensure sales opportunities are appropriately qualified, scoped and set up for success
6. Critical success measures will include Life Sciences sector revenue driven with and through partners, partner sales pipeline growth and adoption of Clinithink-powered partner solutions in Life Sciences
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
1. Proven track record in developing and growing revenue through the sales of enterprise software solutions in the Life Sciences sector, in collaboration with strategic partners
2. Strong understanding of the clinical, scientific, commercial and regulatory principles relevant to the life sciences industry and which frame the market opportunity for Clinithink
3. Solid understanding of key challenges and opportunities faced by Life Sciences customers and solution partners, and the critical role of software solutions, particularly in the area of RWE and clinical research

Role Purpose & Definition
The role reports to the EVP of Life Sciences and Population Health and the purpose of the role is to develop and expand near term net new revenue from existing global pharma customers. For named global pharma accounts, the role will be responsible for Clinithink’s engagement with key customers and partners, including data partners and health systems in the life sciences market segment to:
• Win net new and repeat business with the named accounts;
• Facilitate the conception and ideation of value-adding projects based on Clinithink technology with those accounts;
• Oversee the successful delivery of projects to these accounts using Clinithink’s CLiX unlock enterprise and CLiX panoramic solutions and appropriate methodologies;
• Act as a senior escalation point to resolve delivery challenges as they relate either to the customer or the relevant data partner(s).
These solutions are used by customers and partners to analyse large volumes of narrative clinical documents and create abstracted outputs which serve a specific purpose relevant to a particular project, usually in Commercial Real-World Evidence (RWE) work, Medical Affairs or evidence generation work, as well as Late Phase Clinical Trials. These projects involve the use of licensed Clinithink technology and relevant professional services (in house or via subcontractors) to find and characterize narrowly defined patient cohorts based on detailed clinical and social criteria.
A typical project will involve initial ideation with the customer/partner, scoping, contracting and then delivery. The delivery phase involves securing relevant approvals, detailed analysis to drive configuration of Clinithink solutions, iterative data runs and visualization of results to produce the necessary outputs, write up of project reports including interpretation of findings and/or publication material and finally transition to business as usual, where appropriate. Most projects involve some but not all of these stages or activities, some require all stages. In the capacity of delivery oversight, the role is responsible for ensuring these projects are successfully delivered to the customer’s satisfaction, leveraging a multi-disciplinary Clinithink team comprising on-shore and off-shore specialists.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop net new business opportunities with existing pharma customers.
2. Work with those customer/prospect/budget holders to facilitate high level project concept design that differentiates the Clinithink offering.
3. Ensuring that project ideation and scoping results in a project design which while remaining deliverable and creating meaningful value for the customer while also being feasible to deliver.
4. Collaborate with product and services teams as well as relevant internal SMEs to assure feasibility during pre-sales and contracting and then to ensure customer delight throughout delivery in an oversight/stakeholder relationship capacity.
5. Work with the customer contracts and commercial teams to support contracting for MSAs and SoWs under those MSAs with the named prospects.
6. Ensure new projects are contracted in a way which optimizes the delivery model in terms of risk and value.
7. Be accountable for the revenue accruing to sold projects within the assigned accounts and the win rate/conversion for pipeline opportunities with the assigned accounts which are in the company’s forecast, refreshed on a monthly basis.
8. Oversee the end-to-end delivery of new projects to successful completion against executed SoWs.
9. Maintain and mange senior customer and partner stakeholder engagement throughout the delivery and budget cycles.
10. Continue to interact with senior customer and partner stakeholders to help conceptualize and scope new/follow-on projects.
Position Requirements
The role will require an individual with extensive experience in the life sciences RWE and R&D markets. The breadth of projects supported is very wide, anything from Alzheimer's to diabetes to lung cancer so an ability to rapidly assimilate new clinical domains which might be unfamiliar is essential. The successful applicant will be comfortable managing relationships with senior stakeholders in life science and healthcare provider organizations. The role also requires some previous exposure to technology used in an RWE context. The post holder will also have a strong track record of successful sale and delivery of technology-abled RWE life science projects.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
1. Degree qualification in healthcare or life sciences-related field.
2. Extensive experience in life sciences.
3. Broad experience of working with RWE in a technology or data-related field.
4. Previous experience working with global teams.
5. Substantial experience of working in life sciences commercial project delivery roles.
Desirable Experience
1. Experience working with AI technologies and AI-enabled projects in Life Sciences.
2. Experience of operating in a matrix environment.
